Animal Control Services is the longest running, private service of its kind in Central Alberta, operating out of the largest and best facility in Central Alberta. Currently, we serve approximately a dozen communities in central Alberta region. We offer a comprehensive enforcement option to all of the communities we serve. Our service standard upholds a 24/7 365 emergency response model. Our response times are the fastest within the field, as we have a live answering service that expedites response to the public. Our operating slogan is serving people, saving pets. This mission statement has allowed us to create, what we understand to be, the highest level of service within the field in all of Canada.
Our service has proven effective in creating community adherence and public buy in. We believe that 95% of efforts and activities should be educational, supportive and directive, and that 5% of the efforts should be disciplinary based. It is proven that this model creates the highest level of public good will and compliance over time, and we have found it to hold true in our communities.
Our strong social media footprint allows for us to have above average return to owner rates, and the ability to adopt out animals of all sizes and personalities.
Animal Control Services has also had the opportunity to directly and indirectly aid or assist in some of the largest natural disasters in recent memory in the province of Alberta. This affords us the invaluable experience in helping communities with pet management during a crisis.
